Synopsis: Jake Pendragon has lost the love of his life. Desperate for a fresh start he moves to Longbrooke - a small British coastal town. The people are friendly, the town is quaint and Jake finally feels as if he could start anew.  Then the Rain falls - an ancient weapon that only Jake can manipulate - and Jake is thrust into a world where Myth and Legend are reality and his bloodline the only possible saviour of mankind.

Character Interview: Greg chats with his creators, Amos & Cassidy

Amos: Hello, Greg. Why don’t you tell the reader a little about yourself?

Greg: *grins* Hello, reader! Man, this is weird.

Amos: Just be yourself.

Greg: Okay. Um. I’m a mechanic by trade. I live in a house near the sea and I love sex.

Amos: Um…okay. Thanks for that.

Greg: I’m also really hot and sexy with a bulging-

Amos: Ego!

Greg: *laughs* Got ya, mate. Look at ya all worked up and shit. I was just pulling ya chain. Although I am pretty hot, right?

Amos: *chuckles* Okay. Fine. Let’s move on. You’ve lived in Longbrooke all your life, right?

Greg: Yep.

Amos: So what’s your favourite spot?

Greg: Got to be the pier hands down! In summer that place is rockin’. Full of laughter and fun. As a kid, my dad and I used to spend hours wondering among all the attractions, eating candy floss and watching the tourists. My favourite was the carousel *pauses in thought*

Cassidy: *sighs in relief, shaking out her writing hand*

Amos: * glances at her and grins sadistically* Don’t stop now, Greg, please, do go on.

Cassidy: *shoots daggers at Amos with her eyes*

Greg: Yeah, the carousel, it’s the oldest one around you know. Won some award or something. It’s a beauty. You guys should seriously come take a look.

Amos: That would be great.

Greg: Well, that’s my favourite place, now I’m gonna have to shoot, mate. I have a car to fix before closing and the customer ain’t gonna buy excuses about interviews and stuff.

Amos: No problem. Thanks so much for coming.

Cassidy: *puts down her pen and sighs in relief* We are so buying a Dictaphone.

Amos Cassidy - a team of two. Amos is a 29 year old Diva and Cassidy a 36 year old mum of three.

Aside from a passion for writing and a love of reading they also share an addiction to coffee, love anything Joss Whedon and are constantly playing tug of war over Jensen Ackles.

They have been writing together for four years and their new novel - the first book in a brand new series - 'The Rain: Rebirth' is due for release on 17th January 2014.
