Trolling for Trouble is the start of an urban fantasy series that promises all kids of magic, monsters and mayhem. From trolls to nymphs to witches, it seems to have it all, and a smart heroine to boot.

Lynlee Lincoln comes in off a hard shift as a neutraliser for MAUC (Magical and undead creatures) to find two kids raiding her refrigerator, swiftly followed by the startling reappearance of her ex, their father. What follows is Lynlee's attempt to save his daughter while trying to keep her re-emerging feelings under control.

I enjoyed this. It's super short- took no more than an hour or so to read - and makes a nice introduction to the author's style. I believe it's occasionally offered up for free, but not currently. I'm not sure if I will be continuing with the rest of the series as - and this is totally a personal thing - I like new romances and am not at all fond of ex's coming back on the scene. Too much baggage.
